Picnik (Austin)

Rating; A+

Picnik is one of my favorite places in Austin. Everything they have is Paleo, and a lot of it is Whole30-compliant. I really wish I lived in Austin sometimes.

Their breakfast tacos are my favorite thing that they have, but make sure to get there early! They run out pretty early. (I got there at 9:30)

Larder at Hotel Emma (San Antonio)

Rating: A-

My mom and I went to Hotel Emma to try to eat a late lunch at their restaurant Supper. Unfortunately, they have pretty strict hours for when they serve, so remember that if you ever go. We were about to go somewhere else, when the hostess suggested that Larder was open for food. Larder is a sort of old-school provisions store that also has some food items. They were able to do gluten free sandwiches, and I'm so happy we went. They were really flavorful and their bread was pretty good. There wasn't a huge selection, but I really enjoyed what we had.

Fried Egg Salad with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado

I still can't figure out how they did this because the bacon was really thin, almost like corned beef. It was delicious though.

White Bean Hummus on Naan, Roasted Pepper & Salsa Verde

This one was amazing!! So flavorful and I loved how messy it was.
