Green Seed Vegan (Houston)

Rating: A

I was surprised how good the food here was.  It doesn't look that great from the outside (the area is a little sketchy), but everything I've tried has been great. The people who work here aren't super friendly, but it's not like they're mean.  It's more like Starbucks in a small town vs. Starbucks in NYC. Anyway, I've tried the Notyo Salad, The Tacos, the Sweet Potato Fries, and the Latini Panini on a brown rice wrap so far.  I've loved everything I've tried.

Notyo Salad - Walnut sunflower chorizo, cheese, avocado, pico, cashew cream, and cilantro limon over microgreens

This salad was really flavorful. It looks bigger than it actually is because I have the Rockin Tacos on my plate too, just as a heads up.  I love what they did with the salad.  It's essentially a vegan taco salad, and their "Meat"/(walnut sunflower chorizo) and Cashew Cream are delicious!

Latini Panini - Chipotle Garbanzo Tempeh with avocado, cilantro, tomato, and chipotle aioli

This was delicious, although tasted much sweeter than I expected it to taste. I would definitely order it again!

Pink's Pizza (Houston)

Rating: A+

I thought I "LOVED" Z Pizza until I tried Pink's.  Their flavors have fun and funny names and great flavor combinations. I tried the Deuce and the Lazy Lasagna. Both were so amazing. I want to try a bunch of the other flavors too.  Definitely go here asap. On a side note, I used Doordash.com to order it, and it was definitely the easiest delivery service I've ever used. I did it all on my phone and used apple pay to pay.  I would definitely recommend that as well.

"The Deuce" - goat cheese, mozzarella, spinach, portobella mushrooms, roma tomatoes, roasted garlic, and pesto sauce"

This was SO flavorful and fresh.  I don't know how they did it, but it's amazing.

"The Lazy Lasagna" - beef, italian sausage, ricotta, mozzarella cheese, pizza

I was surprised how good this was and how fresh it tasted.  Their crust is the right thickness and has a great flavor.  It doesn't taste "gluten free" at all. Their tomato sauce is really flavorful as was the greek salad I ordered from there (forgot to take a picture of course). Go try it.  No offense to Z Pizza, but if I had to choose one, I would definitely do Pink's.
