La Polenteria

Rating: B+

I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with La Polenteria.  The food definitely looked better than it tasted, and I found the polenta sort of flavorless. It's a good option if you're really craving polenta, but I probably wouldn't go back here. They were incredibly nice though, so there's that.

This salad was also only mediocre. I think it was their "ceasar" salad. Everything just tasted sort of processed and fake, which I think is the opposite of what they're going for.

This was my favorite item that we ordered. Their gluten free bread is actually really good and probably the most flavorful thing on the menu. I could have done without the giant chunk of polenta in there, so I did. I took it out and the rest of the sandwich was delicious.

Okay, so I LOVE eggs benedict, and this was weird and not good. The polenta tasted weird. The Hollandaise sauce was too rich and at the same time had no flavor. I didn't like it at all.
