Beyond Bread (Multiple Locations)

Rating: A+

Wow! I cannot even tell you how excited I was to try Beyond Bread. I didn't try the Selfridge's location, which I'm super interested in. I have this fantasy of going their and then having a picnic in Hyde Park. Ahhh...

Anyway, I wish I could have gone here more times, because I didn't get to to try everything, but I can definitely say that the Pain Aux Raisins is my favorite thing I tried. I was so excited about the regular croissant, but I really think it's something that you need to eat there and have them warm it up for you or else have an oven in the place you're staying. I found it sort of dry, which makes sense. I think with gluten free items, you really need to heat them up. The flavor of everything was amazing though, and I will definitely be back. Also, I tried the quiche and it was delish. I would definitely recommend Beyond Bread, and I can't wait to go back.

So it was pretty amazing to have a freshly-made croissant, but I really wish I would have asked them to warm it up. You can tell in the image, though, how many layers go into it. It was legit!!

Please ignore the fact that my hand looks so incredibly weird here, but I had to post this "cinnamon roll" because, although delicious in my normal realm of judgement, it was nowhere near as good as the Pain Aux Raisins. Of course I forgot to take a photo of that one up close because I ate it too fast, but you can see it in the first image at the top where it says "Cinnamon Bun". The Pains Aux Raisins are at the front. :)

Tanya's Cafe (Chelsea)

How cute is this? I neglected to take a photo of the adorable courtyard to my right (probably the prettiest area in the whole restaurant) because that's how I roll, but you get the idea.

I LOVED Tanya's Cafe. It's kind of hidden, so I definitely wouldn't have found it if I hadn't been with my friend who is from London. I thought their presentation was beautiful and all of the dishes and juices were delicious. Everything was raw and organic, and my favorite thing I tried was a homemade peanut butter cup that I forgot to take a picture of. Don't forget to get that if you're there. I would definitely go here again.

We started off with these adorable juices. I just love that they put flower petals in them, and it didn't affect the taste from what I could tell.

My friend ordered this lasagna and loved it as well.

I would 100% recommend this place. It definitely seemed more like a Lunch place though.
