Beyond Bread (Multiple Locations)

Rating: A+

Wow! I cannot even tell you how excited I was to try Beyond Bread. I didn't try the Selfridge's location, which I'm super interested in. I have this fantasy of going their and then having a picnic in Hyde Park. Ahhh...

Anyway, I wish I could have gone here more times, because I didn't get to to try everything, but I can definitely say that the Pain Aux Raisins is my favorite thing I tried. I was so excited about the regular croissant, but I really think it's something that you need to eat there and have them warm it up for you or else have an oven in the place you're staying. I found it sort of dry, which makes sense. I think with gluten free items, you really need to heat them up. The flavor of everything was amazing though, and I will definitely be back. Also, I tried the quiche and it was delish. I would definitely recommend Beyond Bread, and I can't wait to go back.

So it was pretty amazing to have a freshly-made croissant, but I really wish I would have asked them to warm it up. You can tell in the image, though, how many layers go into it. It was legit!!

Please ignore the fact that my hand looks so incredibly weird here, but I had to post this "cinnamon roll" because, although delicious in my normal realm of judgement, it was nowhere near as good as the Pain Aux Raisins. Of course I forgot to take a photo of that one up close because I ate it too fast, but you can see it in the first image at the top where it says "Cinnamon Bun". The Pains Aux Raisins are at the front. :)

This is my friend Andria. We were visiting London at the same time, and she was such a good sport about going to gluten free places with me. :)

This was 100% my favorite restaurant I've ever eaten at in London (for a fancier dinner option because Leon is also THE BOMB). The food there tasted so fresh and flavorful, and everyone working there was so helpful and kind. I want to go back here as soon as I possibly can. Their pizza tasted like real pizza. It didn't taste gluten free at all.

So fresh and so good!

This was good, but the pizza was so amazing that I would skip it and get another pizza next time.

This was their "famous" tiramisu. We were so full, but they told us it was worth it. I don't eve like tiramisu, and I loved this! Don't miss out!
